Every year Archon organizes the ARCHON Day. During this day, we want to bring students, researchers, and professional archaeologists from the commercial sector together to talk about current topics in archaeology. This year's theme has been set as 'New directions in archaeological theory', with Prof. Miguel John Versluys of Leiden University as our keynote speaker. We then provide three exciting workshops, each approaching the topic from its own unique angle, and an opportunity to discuss the insights gained during the day in a plenary discussion afterward, chaired by Prof. Astrid van Oyen.
